You may be wondering what is the Passion Planner Digital? How is it different from paper planning? How do I get started? What’s new and improved? Relax. Iโve laid out the basics for you in this FAQ list to show you the way:
General Questions
First, welcome! It’s always nice to meet new folx curious about the #PashFam life. Digital planning is exactly what it sounds like: mapping out your day, week, month, or even your year but electronically.
Unlike the traditional pen and paper planner, digital planners are PDF files created specifically to interact and respond with PDF annotating apps on a compatible tech device.
Kinda. Passion Planner does not currently offer samples of their digital interactive files. Your best bet would be to download the free PDF of whichever planner layout you are interested in and import that into your PDF annotating app of choice. You wonโt get the same functionality of the PDF compared to the Passion Planner Digital but you will be able to see if you like inserting text, adding digital stickers, and keeping a paperless agenda before any monetary commitment is required.
Passion Planner Questions
Currently, Passion Planner offers 3 planner types in the digital format: the weekly annual (dated), the weekly undated, and the daily undated. For the visual learners out there, check out this quick video walkthrough… it’s literally one minute of your time!
Technically speaking, yes. It’s true you are able to continue using your undated digitals (both weeklies and dailies) after a year’s worth of planning. Simply make a copy of your planner and you’re good to go! There are limitations to doing this, though. For example, you will not be able to keep up with the correct yearly calendar dates/holidays marked in your planner.
You don’t HAVE to buy the new version, BUT there are advantages to doing so. The updated versions of the Passion Planner Digital (weeklies and dailies) have much more functionality and are well worth the purchase price. You’ll get more hyperlinked tabs, index pages, bonus materials, and an overall better user experience when you upgrade!
Device Questions
Apple devices need to be upgraded to iOS 13 or higher and Androids need to be at V6 and higher.
Passion Planner Digital might work with previous iOS versions but your functionality may be seriously limited. The following devices are incompatible with iOS 13: iPhone 5S and older, iPhone 6 and 6+, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3, and the 2013 iPad Air.
All of Passion Planner’s digital products have been tested through the iOS system and GoodNotes app. The recommended apps for use are GoodNotes for iOS, Drawboard for PC, Xodo on Android, and Noteshelf on Android tablets. The Passion Planner Digital is also compatible with Zoom Notes, Notability, and other PDF readers.
