How Teachers Can Get a Free Pass to Sesame Place

Did you know that certified teachers can visit Sesame Place for free? Itโ€™s a small thank-you for all the hard work we do throughout the school year. Hereโ€™s how you can claim your free teacher pass:

  1. Eligibility: The free teacher pass is available for certified K-12 teachers in the tri-state area. Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Delaware educators are eligible for a free teacher pass.
  2. Registration Process: Visit the official Sesame Place Teacher Pass page here to start the registration process. You’ll need to fill in some basic information before checking out. After submitting, you’ll receive a confirmation email with details about your teacher pass. Bring the confirmation email and a copy of your valid teaching ID when you arrive at the park for verification. Be sure to register by November 30, 2024!
  3. Access to the Fun: Once you’re registered, you can enjoy unlimited visits to Sesame Place through January 5, 2026โ€”including during the upcoming fall 2024 events!

Fall at Sesame Place is full of seasonal magic that will leave students (and your own little ones!) talking about their adventures for months to come. Here are some of the top fall events you can look forward to:

1. The Countโ€™s Halloween Spooktacular

Running on weekends from September through October, this event is the ultimate Halloween celebration.

  • Trick-or-treating stations: Come in costume and celebrate silly, not-too-spooky trick-or-treating! Kids can dress up in their favorite costumes and collect goodies around the park. Wander through the tropical landscape of Big Birdโ€™s Beach to visit all the fun trick-or-treat stations!
  • Sesame Street-themed Halloween shows: You and your family can catch fun, not-so-spooky shows featuring your favorite Sesame Street characters like Elmo, Cookie Monster, and of course, The Count!
  • Spooky-themed rides and attractions: The park transforms with fun, kid-friendly Halloween decor, making even the familiar rides feel extra festive.
  • Character meet-and-greets: Donโ€™t miss the opportunity to snap some photos with Sesame Street characters in their own Halloween costumes!

2. The Monster Mash Dance Party

Get ready to boogie at the Monster Mash Dance Party! This interactive event lets little ones show off their moves while dancing alongside characters like Abby Cadabby and Big Bird. 4. Pumpkin Decorating with Abby Cadabby

This adorable pumpkin activity is full of fun surprises! Join Abby Cadabby for a positively perfect pumpkin craft. Use stickers to decorate your very own magical pumpkin and get a picture with everyoneโ€™s favorite fairy-in-training, Abby Cadabby! Reservations are required for this event.

5. The Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt

Help The Count count all of the crows on the scarecrows! Pick up an activity sheet in Sesame Plaza and let the games begin. Go on a scavenger hunt throughout the park to find all the scarecrows and count all the friendly crows. Once youโ€™re done, turn in your completed sheet at Mr. Hooperโ€™s Gift Show to receive a special Halloween prize!
