2G3 Halves, Thirds, & Fourths Color by Code Valentine

Description

In this color by code Valentine’s Day mystery picture activity, students will identify and color shapes parted into 2, 3, or 4 equal shares. Students will identify halves, thirds, and fourths with both circles and rectangles. Four (4) coloring sheets are included along with answer key.

2.G.A.3 – Partition circles and rectangles into two, three, or four equal shares, describe the shares using the words halves, thirds, half of, a third of, etc., and describe the whole as two halves, three thirds, four fourths. Recognize that equal shares of identical wholes need not have the same shape.

PRINTING DIRECTIONS: Print single-sided OR back-to-back using the “print to fit page” option for student use.
