Pumpkinfest and Kandi Korn’s Trick or Tournament 2020 – What to Know

October 4, 2020 2 min read

Prodigy Math Game’s annual fall festival, Pumpkinfest, is back! This year, the in-game festival runs from October 1st – 31st. Your class will have access to tons of fun features to engage your students, which ensures lots of curriculum-aligned math practice. Getting started is easy! Here’s what you need to know:

  • Who is invited to Pumpkinfest? Calling all math wizards! Students of every age and stage are invited to partake in the festivities. Pumpkinfest is FREE and as a teacher, there’s no registration form or sign-ups. It’s a no brainer, no prep, fun event.
  • What can students do during Pumpkinfest? Kids can visit Lamplight Town Square, a specific part of the Prodigy Math Game world that will be decorated with pumpkins galore for the event’s duration. As they participate in their everyday wizard battles, they’ll earn candy corn in addition to the typical rewards. This candy corn can then be redeemed by visiting Kandi Korn to purchase exclusive items from the event shop. Students can also search Lamplight Town for unlit pumpkins and restore their lights for additional candy corn currency.
  • Where in the game can students find the Pumpkinfest event? Have your math wizards select Home when they log in to Prodigy Math Game and head over to Lamplight Town for the fall fun!
  • When is Pumpkinfest? The event runs October 1 to October 31. Happy fall, y’all!
